The Royal Liver Building was designed by Walter_Aubrey_Thomas & opened in the year 1,911. Thomas designed the building to be topped with twin towers. John-Lennon would eventually move to another city known for its twin twin towers. And Paul happened to be in NYC on that fateful day in 2001.

Of course, before there was a New York there was an older one called, York & they both became known for their twin towers. York isn't a seaport, but Liverpool is & it became known in the early 20th century for having a building topped with twin-towers.
